Making a lavender oat milk latte at home is easier than you think—and honestly, even better than Starbucks. With lavender simple syrup, smooth espresso, and creamy milk, you can make a relaxing coffee drink that feels extra special. It's perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up, a quiet moment with a good book, or those mornings when the kids are stressing you out. If you prefer your lattes iced, go to my iced lavender latte recipe.
Ingredients

- Espresso: Starbucks uses blonde espresso in their lavender latte. You can certainly use your favorite coffee beans. If you don't have espresso, use strong coffee or cold brew.
- Lavender Syrup: I used my homemade lavender syrup. It has a subtle lavender flavor that’s not overpowering. This syrup is also great in cocktails or lemonade!
- Oat Milk: Oat Milk makes a delicious pairing, especially if you're trying to make a copycat Starbucks Oat Milk Lavender Latte, but regular 2% milk is delicious as well. Soy milk is another non-dairy option that would pair nicely with this latte.

What I Use to Brew Great Espresso at Home
I use the Breville Barista Express to make espresso at home, and I love it. It’s a beginner-friendly espresso machine, with a built-in grinder and everything you need to get started.
Another option for your at-home espresso, is a Nespresso Machine. No new skills required, just pop in your favorite capsule and press the start button.
How to Make a Lavender Oat Milk Latte

- Step 1: Brew espresso and stir in lavender syrup. Use 1 or 2 tablespoons of syrup, depending on how sweet or floral you'd like the drink to be.

- Step 2: Steam the milk until it is hot and has a nice froth. Pour over your espresso and enjoy.
It's really that simple to make a lavender latte at home that's better than the coffee shop! You'll see I added a garnish of a few extra lavender buds. This is optional but a nice added detail if serving to guests.
