5 Minute Mocha Sauce

This homemade mocha sauce is better than Starbucks and takes just five minutes to make! With only four pantry ingredients, it’s perfect for coffee, mocha lattes, and more!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Whisk together the sugar and cocoa powder in a small saucepan to break up any clumps.
  • Add the water and stir until smooth.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture just begins to boil and the sugar dissolves.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
  • Let it cool slightly before using.

Notes

  • The sauce will thicken slightly as it cools.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks. 
  • Stir before using if the cocoa powder happens to settle.
